Janice Lou Berry Newman, 86, of Salt Rock, went to be with the Lord on October 20, 2026. Graveside services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday, October 23, 2026 at Baylous Cemetery, Salt Rock with Doyle Berry officiating. She was born February 7, 1940, in Huntington, a daughter of the late Rev. Herman Berry and Norma Nida Berry. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Newman and siblings, Brenda Berry, Kenny Berry, Ann Ross, Earlisee Porter, Bubby Berry, and Halie Berry. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Crystal and Mitchell Cline of Barboursville; one brother, Herman “Peachie” Berry of Alabama; and one grandson, Bode Cline of Barboursville.
