Christopher Adam Chaffin, 43, of Barboursville, WV, passed away suddenly at home on August 3, 2024. He was the son of Roy Lester Chaffin and Kelly Darlynn Sawyers-Chaffin of Barboursville, WV, and leaves behind one son Jacob Tyler Earnest of Coal Grove, OH; one brother Jason Chaffin of Barbourville, WV, and was preceded in death by his sister Elizabeth Ann Chaffin-Vickers and his paternal and maternal grandparents. He was a 1999 graduate of Cabell Midland High School and also graduated from the West Virginia State Police Academy. He also leaves behind his three nephews, a niece and several aunts and uncles. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, August 8, 2024, at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor Kevin Shull. Burial will be in Baylous Cemetery, Salt Rock.
