Waldo Adkins, 89, of East Lynn, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 8, 2024. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 11, 2024 at Four Mile Church of Jesus Christ by Pastor Jason McComas. Burial will be in Jones Cemetery. He was born September 28, 1934, a son of the late Hurston and Delpha Adkins, He was preceded in death by his wife, Dolores Faye Adkins; two brothers, Luther and Hiram Lee Adkins; and one sister, Louise Lockhart. Survivors include two sisters, Delpha Walker of East Lynn and Edith Massengill and her husband Carl of Canal Winchester, Ohio; daughter, Barb McDilda and her husband David of East Lynn; one son, Eddie Adkins of Detroit, Michigan; three granddaughters; and four great-grandchildren.
