Lowell Thomas Templeton, 81, of Milton, W.Va., was called home on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. He was born on December 16, 1942 in Huntington, W.Va., a son of the late, Carson Frederick Templeton and Virgie Mae “Gigi” Chapman. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Darrell Frederick Templeton. He is survived by one loving sister, Rosanna Mae Neal. Lowell was a loving Father and is survived by his children, Lowell “Keith” Templeton (Debra), Kevin Dewayne Templeton, Kathy Darlene Templeton; very special nephew, Steven Vernon Call; seven grandchildren, Blaine Lantz, Casey Hale, Kendall Caudill, Brandi Benedict, Tia Flowers, Kelsi and Carlie Call. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren, Cooper and Boston McGinnis, Leighton and Hudson Lantz, Nora and Emersyn Caudill, Brayden and Bryson Benedict and Bristol and Beau Akers. He retired from Boilermaker Local #667 and was the owner of MCO in Culloden, WV. He truly loved music and playing the piano was his passion as he played in several bands throughout the years and his favorite song to play was Last Date by Floyd Cramer. In his younger years, he enjoyed flying his own aircraft and fishing. He will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton with Pastor Tracy Call officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Memorial Park, Milton.
