1949 - 2024

David Lee TerryDavid Lee Terry, 75, left this world to meet Jesus on November 16, 2024, at Hospice House of Huntington. Born on October 28, 1949, in Edwight, Raleigh County, WV.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mack McCallister Terry, Sr., and Dorothy Myrtle Black Terry, and siblings, Mack M. Terry, Jr., Patricia Arlene Terry Freeman Welch, Harold Terry, and Larry Terry. Surviving siblings include sisters-in-law Yvonne Terry, Renee Vance, and Priscilla Terry, and brothers John Terry, Wayne Terry, Mark Terry, and Dallas Terry.

David just celebrated a 56th anniversary with the love of his life, Rodrica “Jane” Yoho Terry.

David loved all of his family dearly. His children include: Angela Cristine (Gregory) Jones and David Clinton (Jennifer) Terry; Grandchildren: Courtney (Michael) Scarlato, Kaitlyn Terry, Kierstyn Terry, Matthew Jones, Elijah Terry, and Zachary Force; and Great-grandchildren: Camila Scarlato, Clara Scarlato, Clementine O’Dell, and Sarah Scarlato. David also had numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

David graduated from Milton High School 1967 and Huntington East Trade School specializing in welding. He was very hard-working, talented, and intelligent - a “Jack of all Trades.” He could fix just about anything according to his good friend, Gary Woody. David was generous and took joy in helping others whether he knew them or not, it was his way of life. He also volunteered in Haiti with Radon Medical installing needed equipment after their disaster.

David was employed by American Car & Foundry (ACF), TRANSFAB, and he retired from Radon Medical where he worked alongside his beloved son, Clint.

In his leisure, David was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was kind and had a great sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by many, but our consolation comes from knowing he is now standing in the presence of his Savior, Jesus— Yeshua HaMashiach.

Was always a pleasure to talk to David riding his four wheeler while walking the neighborhood or just in passing. So glad to know he is saved. Our condolences, David will be missed. The Murdocks
