William Berkley “Red” Villars, 91, of Culloden, W.Va., passed away January 4, 2025 at Pleasant Valley Healthcare Center. He was born June 29, 1933, in Cabell County, W.Va., son of the late William and Garnet Villars. He was a member of the Main Street Church of Christ in Hurricane, W.Va. He was co-owner with Ishmel Hodge of the Hodge & Villars Gulf then later Chevron Service Station in Milton for over 30 years. He is also preceded in death by his wife Yvonne, daughter Carolyn Walker, son-in-law Phillip DeHainaut, brother Forrest Villars and sister Jean Wooten. He is survived by his daughters, Diane DeHainaut and Della Armstrong (Jerry); son-in-law Richard Walker; sister Bertha Buckner; six grandchildren, Rachel DeHainaut, Andy DeHainaut, Jeffrey Armstrong, Kevin Walker (Jamie), Stephen Walker (Erika) and Jennifer Conrads (Tyler); great-grandchildren, Noah DeHainaut, Niah DeHainaut, Soni Warthman, Isaiah Collier, Hallie Walker, Will Walker, Avery Walker, Macy Walker, Caroline Conrads, Adalynne Conrads and Blakely Conrads; and great-great-grandchildren, Emi-Lou Collier and Saylor Warthman. The family would like to thank Pleasant Valley Healthcare Center for their special care they gave to Daddy and Mom while they were there with them. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, January 9, 2025 at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, by his grandson, Stephen Walker. Burial will be private at Forest Memorial Park, Milton. Friends may visit from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, January 9, 2025 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be: Andy DeHainaut, Jeffrey Armstrong, Kevin Walker, Tyler Conrads, Noah DeHainaut, Isaiah Collier, Bill Buckner, Will Walker and Avery Walker. Our deepest condolences to your family with Red's passing. A longtime friend to my father and father to our wonderful cousin Diane. We grieve with you for the loss but praise God for his life in this world and as he enters eternity in heaven.

Knew Red while they were in the nursing home home. He went to church when he could make it. Always checked on him and had plenty of stories that we enjoyed and laughed with him. Sharp as a tack. Loved that man and his family. He’ll be missed by all. Love ya Red.
