Agnes Garnett Smith Adkins, 80, of East Lynn, passed away on April 9, 2026. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 12, 2026 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor Jason McComas. Burial will be in Jones Cemetery. She was born July 22, 1945 in West Hamlin, a daughter of the late Bill and Katherine Smith. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Glenn Smith, Andrew Smith, Anthony Smith, and Darlene Jeffery. She is survived by her husband, Elmer Adkins Jr.; two sons, Scott Adkins (Andrea) and Greg Adkins (Robin); one sister, Judy Smith; two brothers, Henry Smith and Rick Smith; grandchildren, Shawn (Danielle) Adkins, Keely (Tyler) Lusk, Maggie Adkins, and Sadie Adkins; and three great grandchildren, Kynley, Aggie, and Matti Adkins.
