Bonnie Lou Burrell Herrold, 82, of Huntington, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2026 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. She was born October 9, 1943, a daughter of the late Amory Burrell and Josephine White Burrell. She was a retired teacher with over 30 years of service. She was a member of Steele Memorial United Methodist Church and participated in numerous activities through the church, Barboursville Senior Center, and numerous book clubs. Bonnie was also a member of the Alpha Delta Kappa Sorority and was secretary for the Democratic Women’s Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Phil Herrold and her brother, Michael Burrell. She is survived by one daughter, T. J. Cochrane (Clay) of Lavalette; two sons, Philip Niebergall II (Crystal) of Milton and Gene Niebergall (Angela) of Ona; one sister, Mary Burrell Pava (Frank) of Hurricane; and grandchildren, Makenzi Niebergall, Ethan Niebergall, Hunter Niebergall, Miles Cochrane, and Roman Cochrane. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 7, 2026 at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, May 8, 2026 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Memorial Park.
