Roger Dale Frye, 79, of Barboursville, WV, passed away on July 14, 2026. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 18, 2026 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barbousville, by Pastor John Reed and Pastor Tommy Burnside. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. He was born August 15, 1946 in Huntington, WV, a son of the late Clyde Benton Frye and Eunice Stamper Frye. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served during Vietnam. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Chesapeake, WV. He was preceded in death by one son, Brandon Frye; and three brothers, Clyde Benton Frye, Freddie Frye and Larry Frye. He is survived by his wife, Gloria Key Frye; one daughter, Kristine Dingess of Hardy, KY; four sons, Roger Allen Frye of Huntington, Ray Lee Frye of Proctorville, Ohio, Jim Evans Jr. of Franklinton, NC and Ralph Allen Harper of Taylorsville, NC; one sister, Shirley Forster (T.J.) of Scott Depot, WV; three brothers, Kenny Frye (Mindy) of Pinehurst, NC, Bill Frye of Huntington, WV, and Jerry Frye (Nora) of Chesapeake, Ohio; 16 grandchildren, Alec Jo Frye, Jacob Frye, Tanner Frye, Sara Frye, Annie Frye, Lillian Frye, Avery Porter, Jeremiah Evans (Kaela), Noah Evans (Amanda), Hanna Evans, Symba Ward (Anthony), Kiana Prater (Justin), Michael Evans, Amber Lavano (Chris), Julie Yeomans (Derek) and Brooke Brubaker; eight great-grandchildren, Jessie Lavano, Julian Lavano, Raylnn Yeomans, Dallas Evans, Copeland Evans, Amelia Evans, Kennedi Prater, and Silas Prater.
