Charles Everett Evans, Jr.
Wheelersburg-Charles Everett Evans, Jr, 42, of Wheelersburg, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2016 at SOMC ER in Portsmouth, Ohio. Charles was born June 6, 1974 in Elizabethtown, KY to Charles Evans Sr. and Cathy Ann (Knapp) Evans. Charles was self-employed and did excavation work. He attended God and Country church in Lucasville.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Madeline and Everett Evans and John Earl and Dorothy Knapp and an aunt, Myrtle Evans. In addition to his father and mother, he is survived by a son, Charles Everett Evans, II and a brother, James Earl (Audrey) Evans.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Thursday, September 29, 2016 at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg, Ohio with Pastor Phillip Carver and Pastor Jack Lore officiating and interment to follow in Memorial Burial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00-8:00 pm on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 and one hour before the service on Thursday.
