Helen Kathryn Roth
Wheelersburg—Helen Kathryn Roth, 80, of Wheelersburg, passed away, Monday, December 12, 2016 at SOMC ER in Portsmouth, Ohio. Helen was born Dec. 24, 1935 in Wheelersburg, Ohio to the late Carl and Christine Schwamberger Delabar. Helen had been employed as a cook for Wheelersburg Local Schools and was a member of St. Peter in Chains Catholic Church in Wheelersburg. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Michael Alan Roth; a daughter, Mary Ann Roth; two sisters, Marilyn McGee, and Patricia Carol Delabar and a grandson, Shawn Michael Hudgel.
She is survived by her husband, David Roth whom she married Jan. 24, 1959 in Wheelersburg; one son, Roger (Angie) Roth; three daughters, Sharon Hudgel, Kathryn Pyles and Patricia (Steven) Radabaugh; three brothers, Carl (Joyce) Delabar, Dave (Gwen) Delabar and James (Collette) Delabar; two sisters, Ruth Ann (Bruce) Logan and Rita (John) Ruhe; fourteen grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and three great, great grandchildren.
Mass of Christian burial will be 11:00 am Thursday, Dec. 15, 2016 at St. Peter in Chains Catholic Church in Wheelersburg with Fr. Joseph Yokum officiating and interment to follow in St. Peters Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg, Ohio from 5:00-8:00 pm on Wed.
