Wade Wright
North Carolina- Wade Wright, 86, of Lexington, NC, formerly of Portsmouth, passed away Sat. Dec. 31, 2016 at his residence. Wade was born Mar. 20, 1930 in Salyersville, KY to the late Ezera and Coochie Burchett Wright. Wade was retired as a truck driver for Bay-Con Construction and had belonged to the Teamsters Union. He was a graduate of Wheelersburg High School, Class of 1948; he was of the Methodist faith and was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Sandusky, Ohio. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ezera “Bud” Wright, Jr. and Junior Wright; two sisters, Dovie Marie Sowers and Norma Smith and two grandchildren, Mark Anthony Wright and Timothy Wade Wright Jr. He is survived by his wife, Wanda Faye Evans Wright whom he married Feb. 13, 1972 in Sandusky, Ohio; two sons, Timothy Wade Wright and Mark Anthony Wright; two daughters, Pama Lee Sarvin and Deborah Osman McCellon; a brother, John Wright; two sisters, Garnet Mauk and Juanita Fresch; five grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm, Thurs, Jan. 5, 2017 at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg, Ohio. Interment will be in Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Wed. Jan. 4, 2017 and one hour before the service on Thursday. There will be a Masonic service at 8:00 pm on Wednesday.
