Grover Carey Runyon
Portsmouth—Grover Carey Runyon, 72, of Portsmouth, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2017 at SOMC in Portsmouth, Ohio. Grover was born Sept. 1, 1944 in Myrtle, WV to the late Wilbur and Delphia Mounts Runyon. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Bill and James Runyon and several nieces and nephews. He is survived by a brother, Curt Runyon; four sisters, Hattie Sturgill, Flora Goff, Irene Mounts and Lois Newsome and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services will be 1:30 pm Sun. Jan. 15, 2017 at Parsley Bottom Freewill Baptist Church in Lenore, WV with G. W. Mounts officiating. Interment will be in Maynard Cemetery.
