Patrick Leroy Adkins
New Boston—Patrick Leroy Adkins, 52, of New Boston, Ohio passed away Saturday, March 4, 2017 at OSU James Center in Columbus, Ohio. Patrick was born October 22, 1964 in Portsmouth, Ohio to Gora and the late Bertha Roof Adkins. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a sister, Vanessa Otworth and a grandson, Zachary Adkins. He is survived by four sons, Patrick Adkins, of New Boston, Joseph Adkins, Zachary Adkins and Christian Scarberry all of Portsmouth; three daughters, Terri Adkins of Indiana, Tiffany Malone and Katelyn Malone both of Portsmouth; three brothers, Jeff Adkins of Hillsboro, Gora Adkins, Jr. and Sean Adkins both of Minnesota and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg, Ohio, with Darrel Musick officiating and interment to follow in Friendship Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00-8:00 pm on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 and one hour before the service on Wednesday.
