Maxeline Dyer
Wheelersburg-Maxeline Dyer, 92, passed away Friday, March 10, 2017 at Best Care Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Wheelersburg, Ohio. Maxeline was born January 25, 1925 in Sublett, KY to the late Tavis and Fannie Barnett Patton. She had been employed as a Manager for the former Steenbergen Turkey Farms. She attended Dogwood Ridge Free Will Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Dyer February 27, 2009, whom she married July 3, 1941 in Salyersville, KY. She is survived by two sons, Wade (Peggy) Dyer and Danny (Carolyn) Dyer; two daughters, Betty (Gene) Scheibly and Diane (Mike) Knight; two sisters, Alline Ratcliff and Jane Cooper; twelve grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren and three great, great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg, Ohio with Merit Smith officiating and interment in Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00-8:00 pm Monday, March 13, 2017 and one hour before the service on Tuesday.
