Alan Keith Webb
Wheelersburg-Alan Keith Webb, 64, of Wheelersburg, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Russell, KY. Alan was born October 9, 1952, the son of the late Thomas and Mary Rice Webb. Alan was a graduate of South Point High School and was retired from St. Mary’s Hospital in Huntington, WV. Alan was a long time member of McWharter Memorial Bible Methodist Church where he was the congregational song leader for many years. He was preceded in death by his devoted wife, Betty Jean McWharter Webb, with whom he was married 30 years. He was also preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Robert, Thomas, Larry and Kermit and one sister Zelda. He is survived by one brother, Kenneth Webb of South Point, Ohio and two sisters, Mrs. Steve (Hattie) Cochran and a twin sister, Kay Webb, both of Marion, Ohio. Alan will be well remembered for his special singing in church, his love of gardening and his Arial interest in weather forecasting.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg with Pastor Pat Mayle officiating and interment to follow in Clapboard Cemetery.
