Michael Earl Otworth
Franklin Furnace-Michael Earl Otworth, 67, of Franklin Furnace passed away Thursday, November 16, 2017 at KDMC in Ashland, KY. Michael was born May 21, 1950 in Scioto County, Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Earl Lewis and Madge “Jude” Juneda Wagner Otworth. Michael was a Green High School graduate and worked as a carpenter with the Carpenter’s Local. He was a member of St. Peter in Chains Catholic Church. Michael is survived by a daughter, Somer Fannin; five brothers, David, Phillip, Charles, Dean and Dwight Otworth; four sisters, Linda Barnett, Rebecca Anderson, Patricia Klaiber and Regenia Ruggles and four grandchildren. The family wishes to express a special thanks to Norma Jean Kelley for all of the love and care that she gave to Mike.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Noon Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at St. Peter in Chains Catholic Church with Fr. Stephen Smith officiating. Interment will follow in St. Peter Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 pm Monday, November 20, 2017. Recital of Rosary by Fr. McGilloway will be at 8:00 pm on Monday.
