Karen Sue Dawson
Wheelersburg-Karen Sue Dawson, 66, of Wheelersburg passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at her residence. Karen was born September 4, 1951 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Vernon and Cora Miller Reese. She was a high school graduate; a homemaker and a member of Porter Freewill Baptist Church. Karen is survived by her husband, Leslie Dawson whom she married June 26, 1971; two sons, Matthew Dawson and Lt. Com. Jeffery A. Dawson and his wife Julie; a brother, Carl (Cathy) Reese; three grandchildren, Samuel, Jacob and Cameron and a niece and a nephew.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Friday, December 8, 2017 at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg with Pastor Mark Price officiating and interment to follow in Pyles Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00-8:00 pm Thursday, December 7, 2017 and one hour before the service on Friday.
