Mildred Smith
Wheelersburg-Mildred Smith, 75, of Wheelersburg passed away Monday, February 26, 2018 at SOMC in Portsmouth. Mildred was born July 8, 1942 in Crum, WV to the late Milton and Sylvia Copley White. She had been employed in retail at Dollar General, Walmart and the former Rinks Dept. Store and she was a member of Wheelersburg Methodist Church. In addition to her parents Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas Smith, June 10, 2013, whom she married July 6, 1968 in Kermit, WV. She was also preceded in death by four brothers and one sister. She is survived by two sons, Edwin Smith (Amanda Wheeler) and Darrell (Crystalyn) Smith; six grandchildren, Edwin, Jr., Jennifer Nicole, Dakota Jordan, Colton Jesse, McKayla Jordin and Addison Kennedi and two great grandchildren, Aria Jdyn and Alyssa Reed.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Friday, March 2, 2018 at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg with Pastor Perry Prosch officiating with interment to follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am service hour Friday, March 2, 2018.
