Adam Holbrook – 29
Portsmouth-Adam Holbrook, 29, of Portsmouth, passed away April 1, 2018, at his home. Adam was born on January 5th, 1989 to Penny L. Johnson Sproul and the late Clay E. Holbrook, Jr. Adam was an electrician with Collins Construction.
Adam was preceded in death by his father, Clay, his sister Brittany Holbrook, and his stepfather, Christopher Shinn. Adam is survived by his mother, Penny Sproul, his brothers’, Joshua (Erin) Whitley and Corey Holbrook; maternal grandparents, Michael and Audrey Johnson and maternal aunt Terry Johnson, as well as nieces/nephews Judah, Samson & Elliana Whitley and Aiden & Izabella Holbrook and maternal cousin Levi Hunter.
Adam was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan, particularly Bucks baseball and football. Adam enjoyed the beaches of North Carolina when he lived there and thoroughly loved to spend time with all of his family. Adam was a fun loving, always smiling, free-spirited and caring soul. Adam gave his life to Jesus Christ 3 years ago and attended One Harbor Church in Morehead City, North Carolina.
Memorial services will be 7:00 pm Friday, April 6, 2018 at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg, Ohio with Pastor Steve Phipps officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-7:00 pm Friday, April 6, 2018. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
