Edison “Ed” Howard
Franklin Furnace-Edison “Ed” Howard, 63, of Franklin Furnace passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Community Hospice in Ashland, KY. Ed was born September 3, 1954 in Salyersville, KY to Estill Howard, Jr. and Etha Lykins Howard. Ed was a high school graduate and worked out of Union Local 577 Plumbers & Pipefitters. He attended Frederick Free Will Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Ed is survived by two daughters, Kelley Martin and her Fiancé Jason Murry and Tabitha Adkins; two brothers, Randy (Sheila) Howard and Rick (Leasa) Howard; Vicki (Jeff) Caulley; two grandchildren, Dakota and Clayton Martin and several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to express special thanks to Heartland Hospice for the care of their loved one.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 am, Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg with Pastor Rusty Larter officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Burial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00-8:00 pm Friday, June 15, 2018 and one hour before the service on Saturday.
