Marie Selbee
FRANKLIN FURNACE-Marie Selbee, 98, of Franklin Furnace, passed away Thursday, June 3, 2021 at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth. Marie was born January 17, 1923 in Portsmouth to the late Lace Selbee and Ollie Jackson Selbee. Marie was employed in the Fitting Department of the former Selby Shoe Factory and attended Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by three brothers, Jack, Harold and Billy Joe Selby and three sisters, Mary Ruth Thompson, Lucille Selbee and Pauline Selbee. Marie is survived by a sister, Kathleen Meade.
Services for Marie will be 1:00 pm Monday, June 7, 2021 at Memorial Burial Park Edgewood Abby Mausoleum in Wheelersburg with Pastor Tom Miller officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Burial Park.
