James Richard Chamberlin

WHEELERSBURG-James Richard Chamberlin, 86, of Wheelersburg, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2024 at Best Care Health and Rehab in Wheelersburg. James was born August 19, 1937 in Portsmouth to the late Joseph Wyatt Chamberlin and Alice Zurada Smith Chamberlin. He retired from the N&W Railroad and was employed in the car shop. He was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents James was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Jane Conkey Chamberlin. James is survived by a son, Jeremy Wyatt Chamberlin; a daughter, Jamie Diane Chamberlin, a sister, Joyce Eubanks, four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Graveside services for James will be 10:00 am, Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Pastor Jim Pertuset officiating. Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg has been entrusted with the arrangements. Condolences to the family may be made at www.harrison-pyles.com.

So sorry to hear of Jim's passing. We have known each other since 1st grade at Lindsay School. He was always so nice and friendly. I will remember him fondly.
