James “Jim” Anthony Munion
PORTSMOUTH-James “Jim” Anthony Munion, 79, of Portsmouth, passed away Monday, April 7, 2025 at his home. Jim was born May 9, 1945 in Portsmouth to the late George Munion and Dorothy Elizabeth Henry Munion. Jim was a self-employed truck driver. In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by three brothers, Lorne, Kenneth and Jack and two sisters, Jean Sowards and Judy Munion. Jim is survived by his wife, Sylvia Ruth Moore Munion whom he married May 22, 1965 in Portsmouth; four sons, James Anthony Munion, Jr., Timmothy Ray Munion, Terry Eugene Munion and Jon Erik Gregory Munion; three daughters, Angela Lynn Ross, Mary Ann Jonnson and Laura Beth Munion; sixteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Services for Jim will be 1:00 pm Friday April 11, 2025 at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg. Interment will be in Memorial Burial Park.
