Ann Blevins Carter
WHEELERSBURG-Ann Blevins Carter, 96, of Wheelersburg passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at Concord Health and Rehabilitation Center in Wheelersburg. Ann was born November 4, 1928 in Sandy Hook, KY to the late Bennie Blevins and Daisy Collins Blevins. She was employed as a cook/waitress at the former Longhorn Steak House, and she was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Carter, whom she married April 6, 1958 in Fort Wayne, IN. She is survived by a son, Donald (Anna Johnson) Carter; two brothers, Bennie Blevins Jr. and Chester Blevins; two sisters, Buelah Stanley and Marie Hutchinson; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Services for Ann will be 1:00 pm Monday, May 19, 2025 at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
