Jeffery (Radar)  FrazierJeffrey (Radar) Frazier, 73, of Portsmouth passed from this life peacefully July 10, 2026, at SOMC Hospice surrounded by family. Jeff has resided at Portsmouth Health and Rehab for the past 3 years. Born June 29,1953, in Portsmouth, Ohio, a ‘72 graduate of Portsmouth East, where he was team manager for several different sports teams. In his 20’s Jeff attended Sciotoville Nazarene Church where he played softball and was given the nickname Radar. In the preceding years he played and/or coached softball in church leagues in the Aiken, South Carolina, area. Most recently Jeff attended Wheelersburg Methodist Church. Jeff enjoyed Ohio sports - The Ohio State Buckeyes, Cincinnati Reds and Bengals. Jeff/Radar was an avid Wheelersburg Athletics fan. He never missed a game or even practice. He helped prepare fields and/or worked concessions. He was The Burg’s truest fan. He is survived by a brother Ray Frazier of Portsmouth, sisters Eydie (Allen) Baldowski of Augusta Ga, Becky (Floyd) Davis, nephews Brett (Brandi) Davis and Scott (Rachel Book) Davis all of Portsmouth and nieces Amber Frazier and Kirsten Frazier of Charleston SC and Abbey Frazier (Jake Wilson) of Titusville FL. Great nephew Cooper Davis and great niece, Gwen Davis. Preceded in death by his parents Ramah and Emogene Frazier, brother Spencer Frazier, niece Amy Frazier and sister-in-law Lori Stiles Frazier. A service celebrating Jeff’s life will be held at Harrison-Pyles on Thursday, July 16 at 8pm. Friends may call from 6-8. Officiating will be Pastor Perry Prosch and Pastor Randy Bratka In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wheelersburg Athletics or Wheelersburg Methodist.
