James "Jimmy" Protz 58 of Trinity died at East Texas Medical Center in Tyler, TX. Memorial services are pending at Forest Oaks Funeral Home and Crematory in Jasper, TX. A native of ElDorado, AR. he had lived in Woodville, TX. and was a resident of Trinity, TX. where he was employed in the automobile repair industry. He was preceded in death by a brother Bobby Protz and a sister Brenda Moore. Survivors include his father Carl and wife Juanitia Protz of Woodville, TX. Mother Mary Helen Hampton of Houston, TX. Special Friend Cammie Gobeli of Trinity, TX. a brother Richard Protz of Lumberton, TX. Sisters Kathleen Noel and husband Jesse Lee of Houston, TX. Carla and husband Scotty Bergeron of Baton Rouge, LA. and Debbie and husband Joe Helfrich of Portland, OR. as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
