R.L. "Poochie" Cooper 73 passed away at his home on August 17, 2012 in Kirbyville, TX. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 19th from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at Forest Oaks Funeral Home. Services will be at Forest Oaks Funeral Home Chapel at 3:00 p.m. with private interment to follow at the Magnolia Springs Cemetery.
A native and lifelong resident of the Magnolia Springs and Erin Community he is survived by his mother Ethel Cooper of Erin, Tx, his wife Dixie Hyden Cooper of Magnolia Springs,Tx, sons Marshall Glen "Goober" Cooper and Charles D. Cooper of Cypress, Tx, step-daughter Geana Russell of Hemphill, Tx, brother John Scott Cooper of Erin, Tx, sisters Linda Morgan of Erin, Tx and Norma Lynn Cooper of Houston, Tx, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Dear Mrs. Dixie,we are so sorry to her of your loss, we were out of town for a week, robert and Poochie we big hunters of the Big Creek Hunting Club back in the day.
