Charlie Provost 65 of Sam Rayburn died at his home on Sunday August 26, 2012. Memorial services will be announced at a later date. A native of Lafayette, LA. he moved to Sam Rayburn in 2010 from Kerrville, TX. Charlie was a professional outdoors men and co-owner of Provost Adventures that was a well known adventure guide service for hunting and fishing in Mexico, New Mexico and Texas. Survivors include his wife Rusty Provost of Sam Rayburn, TX. a son Lucien Charles Provost of Little Rock, AR. daughters Candy Weaver of Mobile, AL., Caroline Provost and Ann Marie Provost both of Florida and a sister Pearl Guidry of Scott, LA. grandchildren Luke, Desiree, Carrie and Luca as well as five great grandchildren.
