Carroll D. Flournoy 74 died at Kindred Hospital Houston Northwest Monday November 12, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday November 15, 2012 at the Corynth White Rock Community Cemetery in San Augustine, TX. Visitation will be held at Forest Oaks Funeral Home and Crematory in Jasper, TX. on Wednesday November 14, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. A native of San Augustine he moved to Jasper in 1958 and was employed with Visador as a supervisor when he retired in 1997. He was preceded in death by a brother Harold Flournoy, daughter Gina Robinson and a granddaughter Katy Robinson. Survivors include sons Lance E. Flournoy of Jasper, TX. and Patrick E. Flournoy of Nederland, TX. a son-in-law Richard Robinson of Waller, TX. and three grandchildren Laurel, Kara and Shelby. Condolences can be posted at www.forestoaksofjasper.com

All I can say is that it has and is an honor to be part of the Flournoy family. I loved Carroll not as a father-in-law but as a Father. He was a great role model for Katie and she always looked forward to her time with him. May peace find Patrick and Lance and your families. I know I will miss his stories and his quick sense of humor. Thank you for all you have done for me
