Marcella Faye Boyer
WHEELERSBURG Marcella Faye Boyer, 84, passed away Saturday March 11, 2023 at KDMC in Ashland, KY. Marcella was born September 15, 1938 in Portsmouth to the late Carl Pyle and Vera Lawson Pyle. She was employed as a cook at Best Care. Marcella lived for her family and a lot of times did without so her family could have. In addition to her parents, Marcella was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Alfred Boyer February 2, 2012; a brother, Earl Pyle, and a sister, Carol Nickell. Marcella is survived by three sons, Paul Boyer (Gail), Tom Boyer (Mahala and Steve Boyer (Rebecca); three daughters, Jean Maulk (John), Pam Boyer and Jane Boyer; two brothers, Russ Pyle and Greg Pyle; eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
Private family services for Marcella were held 2:00 pm Wednesday March 15, 2023 at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg with Pastor Micah McAllister officiating. Interment followed in Memorial Burial Park. Condolences to the family may be made at www.harrison-pyles.com.
