What a wonderful physician and human being! We were so blessed to have "Dr Diqqi" as our 3 children's pediatrician, and for 2 of our grandchildren. So sorry for your loss. Heaven holds more now, the world a little less.

My husband and I were just wondering about Dr. Siddiqi. Ironically, we are currently visiting family in Huntington and saw his obituary.
Dr. Siddiqi was our 15 year old daughter’s pediatrician when we lived in Huntington. He always made us feel comfortable as new parents and would always say, “I love the feisty babies!” Because our daughter would scream until she vomited when we had our newborn appointments. He made me feel like I was doing a good job, when I was so nervous. He was so knowledgeable and I felt so safe having him look at and take care of our precious little girl.
Our sincere condolences are offered to his family and we thank you for sharing him with the many children and families he helped so much. What a great blessing he was.

Dr. Siddiqi went over and above taking care of my 2 sons, he saved Kyle’s life. We loved Dr. Siddiqi, his wonderful staff, and his gentle way of handling nervous mommas. We will be holding your sweet family in our hearts. Thank you for sharing him with us. ❤️

Dr. Siddiqi was our pediatrician for our 3 children. He was such a caring and kind gentleman. I saw him in Kroger one day and told him about our grandchildren. He reminded me that babies are a blessing. And Dr.Siddiqi was certainly a blessing to us!

Such a fine man. He was the only pediatrician my kids ever saw (all four of them). He knew them each by name, even as adults he would ask about them and knew what they were doing professionally or where they were going to school. Not only was he their doctor, he was a great source of encouragement to me during a very difficult time. So blessed to have had him in our lives.

Dr. Siddiqi filled in for Dr. Martin about 47 years ago. Our son Robert was sick, and Dr. Siddiqi called us to see how Robert was doing. We always appreciated that gesture of kindness.

I was saddened to learn of the passing of Dr. Siddiqi. He was a wonderful, caring doctor. My two daughters were his patients in the 90’s and 2000’s. He was never in a hurry, and always took the time to listen, which cannot be said of most doctors today. He will be missed.

Dr. Farooq H. Siddiqi, 82, of Barboursville, WV, passed away April 4, 2023 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, April 7, 2023, at Spring Valley Memory Gardens, Huntington, by Rev. Thomas Jeffrey. He was born in Hyderabad, India on May 1, 1940. He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Belt-Siddiqi and his son-in-law, Robert Barker. He was survived by his sisters, Farida Mirza and Humera Haq; four children, Debra Williams, Teresa Markins (Greg), Diana Barker and William Belt (Melanie); and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was honored to take care of the children and their parents during his 42 years of practice as a pediatrician. He was a faithful member of Dillon Chapel United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dillon Chapel United Methodist Church at 4421 16th Street Road, Huntington, WV 25701. Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville, is assisting the family.
