Marlene Dale Caldwell
WHEELERSBURG-Marlene Dale Caldwell, 83, of Wheelersburg passed away Friday, October 27, 2023 at SOMC in Portsmouth. Marlene was born April 4, 1940 in Ironton, Ohio to the late Ralph Harley Henry and Lillian Marie Miller Henry. Marlene was employed as an LPN at the former Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital. She was a member of Eifort Free Will Baptist Church. Marlene loved her family, her dogs, art, crafts, travel, shopping and her “little white church by the road.” Marlene is survived by her husband, James Wesley Caldwell, whom she married May 21, 1960 in Lawrence County, Ohio. She is also survived by two daughters, Teisha Kay Caldwell and Ginger Rhea Caldwell (Bob); a sister, Dianne Kay Henry Williams (Willard); four grandchildren, Jacqueline Dials, Zachary Harr (Ashley), Jade Casper (Quintin) and Haleigh Harr and four great grandchildren, Luna, Marshall, Juni and Mav.
Services for Marlene will be 1:00 pm Monday, October 30, 2023 at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg with Pastor Tim Crabtree officiating. Interment will be in Vernon Cemetery.
