1934 - 2024

Rev. Bobbie Lee DaileyRev. Bobbie Lee Dailey, 89, of Barboursville, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 4, 2024. He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Charlotte Ellen Dailey, parents Hallie and Freddie Dailey, sisters Helen Barnett and Anna Lou Woodall, brothers Lawrence Dailey and Jimmy Dailey. He is survived by his sons, Jeff and Tanya Dailey of Ona, and Philip and Krista Dailey of Culloden; grandchildren, Nicholas and Erika Dailey of Lewisburg, Naylon Dailey of Ona, and Niles and Lauren Dailey of Milton, Ashlee and Cam Donahue, of Leominster, MA, Taylor Adkins of Barboursville, Morgan and Zach Black of Morgantown, and Bryce Raines of Culloden; great-grandchildren Landon Brown and Leighton Dailey of Lewisburg and Aurora Black of Morgantown; sister, Hazel and John Sang of Lesage; brothers, Victor and Betty Dailey of Ona and Vermal and Pat Dailey of ME. He served in the Army, being stationed in France. He pastored several area churches, where his ministry touched many lives. He preached hard and never wavered in his faith nor the Gospel that he loved so dear. He was also an avid farmer, hunter and fisherman, and to this day nobody in the family has harvested a bigger buck than his first deer at the age of 15. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, February 8, 2024 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville. Pastor Dickie Jobe will be officiating and Jerry Jobe will be singing. These men were very special to Bob and Charlotte and the family wishes to thank Dickie and Jerry for honoring them. Burial will be in Forest Memorial Park, Milton. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday prior to the service. We would like to thank Genesis Teays Valley for the care and love they provided for our parents during their stay. Enjoyed the company of Bob and Charlotte at Christmas and other family gatherings over the years. I treasure the beautiful Christian ornaments they gave to me. We shall have a wonderful family reunion again with our Lord as the focus rather than the tokens of his love. God bless each of Bob’s descendants. Follow his footsteps in serving and looking forward to that great Heavenly reunion! My love and prayers are with you. 🙏❤️
