Donald Fredrick McCloud, Jr, 73 of Hudson, FL, formerly of Barboursville, WV, passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2024 in Hudson, FL. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 18, 2024 at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Rev. Carol Lowe and Rev. Kenny Large. Burial will be private. He was born August 16, 1950 in Huntington, WV, a son of the late Donald F. and Delores Jean Davis McCloud. He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret Young McCloud; sons, Donald Scott McCloud (Lynette) of Huntington, WV and Kenneth McCloud, of Hudson, FL; sister, Debra Hysell (Don) of Chesapeake, OH; grandchildren, Lindsay Edwards, Caries Barker, Andrew McCloud, Dakota McCloud, Ryleigh Houdershoult and Brayden Leist; two great-grandchildren, Georgia and Joseph; and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday from 1-3 p.m. at the Wallace Funeral Home. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.

All my memories of Donnie are good. He was always happy and smiling. It was easy to know and love Donnie. A man of God. A man of peace. His life was a bright and shining torch displaying the love of Jesus. When you see Dad hug his neck for me. Until we meet again in eternity. Love you my brother!

I met Donnie when I was only 18. From the day I married his youngest son, he became not only my father-in-law, but my dad as well. There wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do for you. I always knew Donnie loved me no matter what happened throughout the years. Tell my daddy I miss him, and can’t wait for the day I see you both.
