Dorothy JoAnn Kincaid, 79, of Barboursville, passed away February 13, 2024. She was born July 18, 1944 in Huntington, a daughter of the late Virgil Elwood Smith and Alice Orletta Laywell Smith. She was also preceded in death by her step-daughter, Kathy Kincaid. She is survived by her husband, David Kincaid; sons, G.J. Carter (Lori) and John Carter (Michelle), all of Columbus, and David Kincaid, Jr. of Barboursville; step-daughter, Kristi Kincaid of Barboursville; sisters and brothers, Gloria Jane Beckett, Connie Toler, JR “John” Smith and Debbie Cannon; and grandchildren, Jackob Kincaid, Kacey Carter, Kelli Carter, Johnna Carter, and Alexa Young.
