Earl Lynn Merritt Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1958 - 2024 Earl Lynn Merritt, 65, of Huntington, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 19, 2024 at his residence. He was born November 6, 1958 in West Hamlin, W.Va., a son of Reanice Brunty Hale and the late, Arthur Merritt. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by a son, Thomas James Hall and by five siblings, Delbert Merritt, Charlie Merritt, Acie Merritt, Mark Merritt and Betty Thacker. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Ann Merritt; one daughter, Melissa Merritt; one sister, Debbie Jeffery (Bill); three brothers, John Hale (Charlotte), Keith Hale (Penny) and Bundy Hale (Bonnie); three grandchildren, Marissa Hall, Dalton Borders and Thomas Hall; four great grandchildren, Xander Hall, Remington Hall, Easton Bias and Braxton Borders and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, February 25, 2024 at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville with Pastor Lonnie Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in the Thacker Cemetery, Branchland, W.Va. Friends may visit from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. I am so sorry for the family loss he was a good man that I know of of him and he was all right person I met him once or twice. Just wanted to reach out to his family. Hope you guys get well from this because I know how it is to lose someone in your family blessed his family

So sorry for his Wife Ann for her loss I know them two was together for many years them two love one another so very much and Nut was a very good man thought the world of him and his Wife they are good and Gods people love both of them and again Ann so sorry for your loss I know it hurts and you probably feel so alone and empty with out him but you have yours and his memories and In your heart ❤️ until you two meet again it’s never goodbye it’s I will see you later sweetie… Send with lots of love BuffyJewell

I am very sorry for your loss. Peanut was a good friend and when I think of him I can't help but smile, he always made me laugh about something. We have had some good times hanging out at bingo or just chillin with him and Annie. I will cherish those memories forever. May you rest easy my friend. You all will be in my prayers.
