Mary Lou Sexton, age 83, of Pfafftown, NC, passed away in her home on February 19, 2024 surrounded by her family.
Mary Lou is survived by her daughters and their husbands: Teresa and Joe Pearey of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Vicie and Robert Richardson of Texas City, TX, April and Bobby Deem of Pfafftown, NC and Susan Ossman, wife of late Jr., of Cadiz, OH; her sister Shirley Davis of Barboursville, WV; her brother and his wife Stuart and Ruth Cyrus of Proctorville, OH; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews, all loved but too many to mention.
Mary Lou is preceded in death by the love of her life, Leroy Sexton Sr., her son, Leroy Sexton Jr.; her parents, Warren “Tony” and Vicie Cyrus and “Oh” what a celebration they are all having with many other loved ones and friends who were other side to greet her.
Thank you for all the kind words and thoughts that have been shared. And even though we’d love to share them all, here’s one that describes her well.

Friends may join the family to honor Mary Lou’s life and legacy at Wallace Funeral Home, 1760 Midland Trail, Milton, WV 25541, 304-743-1500 on Monday, February 26, 2024 from 6-8 p.m. and on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at 10 a.m. until the service time at 11 a.m.
Following the funeral service, Mary Lou will be laid to rest beside Leroy at Forest Memorial Park, 12766 US-60, Milton, WV 25541.
