Daniel Eugene Spears, 49, of Glenwood, WV, passed away at home from sudden cardiac arrest on February 21, 2024. This is a devastating loss to his family who loved and cherished him dearly. Daniel was a Christian, he was a follower of God. He worked all of his life and he was a hard worker. He was a friend to all who knew him and he had a kind heart. He was a 49er’s fan, he loved wrestling, he loved his family and he showed it everyday. I lost my best friend, he leaves behind his wife of 26 years, Crystal Spears; one daughter, who he was extremely proud of, Emily Paige Spears; his niece and nephew, Joshua and Samantha Call who he loved like his own; his father-in-law Johnny Call Sr., and our dog Molly; three brothers, Chris, Josh, and Dallas Spears. He is preceded in death by his mother, Debra Pelfrey; father, Ray Spears; one brother, Ray Spears II; mother-in-law, Peggy Call and brother-in-law, Johnny Call Jr.; and our bulldog, Charolette. Daniel leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. All who knew him, loved him. Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville, is assisting the family with services, which are private.
