Jeannie Frances Hensley, 89, of Grayson, Ky., formerly of Huntington, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 26, 2024. She was born May 17, 1934 a daughter of the late, William Walter Chess and Julia Flora Chess. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Jack Vernon Hensley; two sons, Shawn William Hensley and Matthew Chess Hensley and by her siblings, Eleanor Varney, William Joseph Chess and Elizabeth Betty Woods. She is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth Scheidel and Jacqueline Noble; four grandchildren, Tiffany Christina Noble, Houston Justin Noble (Robin), Audra Elizabeth Scheidel, Kelsey Lee Scheidel; six great grandchildren, Rowen Everleigh Carter, Madison Paige Noble, Houston Joseph Noble, Murphy Louise Adkins, Ashlee Taylor Wilkinson and Conner Allen Robert Adkins. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and six grandchildren by love, Sarah, Emily, Rachel, Skyler, Taylor and Alan. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, March 29, 2024 at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville with Minister Danny Evans officiating. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Friends may visit from Noon to 1 p.m. Friday at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
