Sandra Sue Wilkinson Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1939 - 2024 Sandra Sue Wilkinson, 84, of Huntington, peacefully passed away in her home, early Wednesday morning on April 17, 2024. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 4, 2024, at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville. She was born May 18, 1939, in Huntington, WV, a daughter of the late Hobert and Garnet Marie Scott Gray. Sandra graduated from Huntington East High School and Huntington Business College, taught ballroom dancing at Arthur Murray and was a Haylofter and danced on WSAZ's Saturday Night Jamboree in the late 50's early 60's, she helped with fundraising for Bill Campbell's Cammack Children's Center, and she danced on the Bob Hope show. She was a loving wife and mother and a homemaker, then became a stained glass and mosaic artist, who enjoyed her creativity and sold her art in local stores and also created commissioned pieces, and she enjoyed gardening and singing with the River Magic Chorus, Sweet Adelines International. Sandra was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Gail Wilkinson and sister Barbara Bellomy. She is survived by one son, Rick (Kerry) Wilkinson of Ellenton, FL; one daughter, Kimberly Wilkinson currently of Huntington, WV; one sister, Peggy Barker of Barboursville; two grandchildren, Ashley Hatfield and Cortney Horn; four great-grandchildren, Christopher Horn, Cannon Hatfield, Owen Horn, and Hannah Hatfield and one on the way. Visitation will be from 12 to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 4 at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville prior to the service.
