Eddie Brooks, age 63, of Huntington, West Virginia, passed away on April 28, 2024. He was born on July 26, 1960, in Huntington, West Virginia.
Eddie, survived by his wife Teresa I. Brooks, leaves behind a legacy cherished by his five children: Carrie Spurlock (Saul), Paul Brooks (Jennifer), Lora McComas (Roger), Brandon “Bub” Brooks (Brittany), and Kim McCoy (Tom). He will be dearly remembered by his five granddaughters, eight grandsons, one great-grandson, and three sisters: Ellen Adkins, Violet Vance, and Lori Hammond, along with many nieces and nephews.
He was the son of the late Odie Otho and Patricia Marie (Cole) Brooks. Eddie is now reunited in heaven with his mom and dad, Odie Otho and Patricia Marie Brooks, two brothers, Junior and Lyle Brooks, and two sisters, Brenda Lowman and Pam Dotson.
The funeral service for Eddie Brooks will be held on Friday at 12:00 noon at Wallace Funeral Home in Barboursville, West Virginia. Burial will follow in the Brooks Family Cemetery, Huntington. Prior to the service, there will be a viewing at 11:00 a.m.
