James O'Lynn, 88 of Barboursville, WV went to live with the Lord May 31, 2024. He was preceded in death by his son, James H. O'Lynn, Jr.; daughter, Sherri Gail Eplin; grandparents, Rev. Joseph and Blanche O'Lynn; mother, Deborah Trump; aunts, Ruth, Reba, and Gloria; uncles, Robert, William, and Van. He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Marcella; daughter-in-law, Barbara O'Lynn; son-in-law, Dwane Eplin; half-brother, William Tanner, Rev. Richard (Jennie Lou) Tanner; one half sister, Sandra (David) Martin; four grandsons, Jamie and Brandon O'Lynn, Chris (Nicole) and J. R. (Jordyn) Eplin; aunt Blanche Elliot; nephew, Robert Gene (Carolyn) O'Lynn; special friends, Don and Lynett Davis and their children, Carrie and Donnie; and John and Christy Snodgrass; a "Slew of great-grandchildren and a Passel of friends". Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel. Burial will in Baylous Cemetery.
