 Carolyn Sue Evans, 86, of Bradenton, FL, passed away May 26, 2024 in Lewisville, TX with her daughter by her side. She was born March 30, 1938, in Huntington, WV, daughter of the late Morris Sullivan and Rosa Perry Sullivan. She was preceded in death by her husband Vernon E. "Gene" Evans; her sisters Juanita McNeely, Elsie Hill, Eleanor Warren and Arlene Sullivan; and brother Jack Sullivan. She is survived by her daughter Kimberly Sue Evans; two sisters Wanda Adkins (Bob) and Janet Parsons (Cecil); a special niece who was more like a sister Barbara Adkins; and her granddogs Trixie and Jasper. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, June 7, 2024, at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, with Pastor Jerry Matt officiating. Visitation will be from 12 to 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Aunt Carolyn, thank you so much for being there for Granny (Eleanor). She loved you so much and loved spending time with you. I’ll always remember your smile and laugh, your perky personality, and saying it like it is. Say hi to Granny and Dad for me. Until we meet again, love you!

II so sorry to hear of Carolyn’s passing. I am thankful for the time I got to know and spend with her. She will always have a special place in my heart. Kim, my prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.
