Connie Diane Miller, 55, of Salt Rock, passed away Monday, July 15, 2024 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 18, 2024 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor Michael Chapman. Burial will be in Baylous Cemetery. She was born August 30, 1968 in Huntington, a daughter of the late Isaac and Ida Carter Blake. She started Grace Food Pantry, Huntington in 2012 and Connie’s Kid’s Club in 2014. She was preceded in death by one son, Jonthon Blake and one brother, Roger Blake. She is survived by her husband, Paul Richard Miller; son, Brad Midkiff of Barboursville; daughter and son-in-law, Tara and Ronnie Ward of Kenova; stepdaughter, Ashley Renee Miller of East Poultney, Vermont; sister, Sue Easthom of Huntington; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Michael and Jennifer Blake of South Shore, KY and Jeffrey and Lisa Blake of Chesapeake, Ohio; and grandchildren, Payton, Jennifer, Autumn, and Maddie Midkiff, Cheyann, Kaylee, and Taylor Lawhon, Lily Blake, and Noelle Williams. Paul and family,
My deepest condolences to each of you. Your wife, mother, grandmother was a guiding light to so many. It was a honor to know Connie and a blessing to call her a friend. I will never forget her kindness, generosity or her passion. She truly was an angel on earth. I cannot wait to see her again. My prayers are with you all.

I met Connie when she was just a child. Through the years she had a beautiful heart that was always seeming to want to help people. She will be missed. My prayers are with the family.
