John William Divita, 90, of Ona, passed away August 2, 2024 at The Village at Riverview. A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, August 9, 2024, at St. Anthony’s Shrine, 2764 Midland Trail, Route 60, Boomer, WV 25031. He was born January 26, 1934 in Montgomery, WV, a son of the late Anthony Divita and Catherine Yaquinta Divita. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his wife, Angela Pisano Divita and three children, John William Divita, David Allen Divita and Ray Anthony Divita. He is survived by one daughter, Lisa and Lanley Cabell of Ona; one son, Vincent Edward Divita of Cincinnati, Ohio; one brother, Anthony Divita of Weirton, WV; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
