Mrs. Shirley Baisden Edmunds went home into the arms of Jesus, Monday evening Sept. 23, 2024, where her husband Morris, her Mother, Daddy, Brother and a host of family and friends greeted her. She is finally home.
Shirley was an Elementary Teacher ending her 40 years at Nichols Elementary, where she made life long friends, and was a favorite teacher of many students. Shirley was also involved in managing the kitchen at Milton Baptist Church, including, parties, Wednesday night dinners, and various summer picnics at April Dawn Park. She and Morris were members there for many years.
Shirley (Granny) is survived by her daughter Julia; son Scott (Robin); grandchildren, Zachary Sydenstricker, Grace Edmunds, Molly Sydenstricker, Noel Edmunds, Brittney Smith (Alex), Zach Stoll (Josh); and three great-grandchildren, Ellie, Matthew and Emma Smith. All whom she loved with all her heart. She was the very best.
Services scheduled, visitation Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2024 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Milton Baptist Church. Funeral service Thursday, Sept. 26, 2024 at the church at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
