Christine Thaler at the age of 92 went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, Aug. 03, 2010 at a Kerrville hospital. She was born on June 08, 1918 in Steetman, Texas to Wallace and Beatrice McKnight. Christine married John Thaler on April 30, 1941 in San Antonio Texas. She work and retired from the Kerrville VA hospital, in food the services department. Christine was a member of Sonlight Chapel of Center Point. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband John, 3 brothers James, Wallace Jr and Marvin.
Christine is survived by her son John W. Thaler and wife Laura of Kerrville; sister Wynona Jennings of Normangee, TX; 2 grandchildren Gabrielle and Jared both of Kerrville; step daughter Judy McKnight of Kansas; and many other family members and friends who love her will miss her.
Visitation will be held from 10 am until 6 pm on Friday, Aug. 6, 2010 at Wright's Funeral Parlor in Kerrville, with the family greeting guest from 5 until 6pm.
Funeral services will be held 10am, Saturday, Aug. 07, 2010 at Sonlight Chapel (451 Kelly in Center Point Texas) with Pastor Wes Weston officiating the services. Interment will follow at Center Point Cemetery in Center Point Texas.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Peterson Hospice (1121 Broadway Kerrville Tx. 78028) or the charity of your choice.
