    Eward Lee Lewis III "Eddy"

Edward Eddy Lee Lewis III at the age of 67 went to join God's Band in Heaven on Thursday, February 10, 2011 at the Kerrville Texas VA hospital. He was born on May 24, 1943 in Abilene Texas to Edward and Dorothy "Hannah Lewis. Eddy grow up on a farm in Plainview, graduated HS in 1961, then went too Texas Tech until he was drafted in the U.S Air Force he served from 1965 until 1969. He was able too make life long friends and became a abet golfer and fisherman while he was stationed in Texas and Mississippi. Eddy moved too Lubbock to finish college and graduated in 1971, he then worked in retail sales and whole sales traveling west Texas, New Mexico, and southern Colorado, he moved too Kerrville in 1973 where he started a custom Ironwork business designing and fabricating structural and ornamental iron. He retired in 1999 and started too enjoy life. Eddy married Karen Lane in 2000 and he was a member of the Living Tree Church of Ingram Texas. He loved his family and friends but his passion in life became his music, Eddy was in many different bands around the Hill Country. He is preceded in death by his father Edward Lewis Jr, sister Lisa Lewis, son Bob Lewis, and mother in law Jane Lane. Eddy's philosophy in life was KEEP GOD IN YOUR HEART, TRUST HIS WORDS, LET HIM GUIDE YOUR LIFE AND DEEDS.

Eddy is survived by his wife Karen Lewis of Ingram, Texas; mother Dorothy Lewis of Kerrville Texas; son William E. Lewis of Waco Texas and finance Angie Daly of Leeds, England; step son Joshua Ficker of Ingram Texas; grandson Gavin Lewis of Waco, Texas; father in law Joe Lane; companion family dog Shebah; in-laws Terry Wood and wife Cindy, Lee Wood and wife Susie, Debra Wood and Starla Gracia and husband Ray; 11 nieces and nephews, one great niece and many other family members and friends who love him will miss him.

Military Memorial services will be 4pm, Thursday, Feb. 17, 2011 at the Living Tree Church in Ingram.
