Ima Jean Ewing Helton went to be with her heavenly father on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at the age of 77. She was born on March 30, 1934 in Pampa, Texas. Jean was employed at Sid Peterson Hospital in the 70s and 80s. She owned and operated Ewings South Fork Kennels. Jean enjoyed fishing, and garage sales. She is preceded in death by her parents Opal and Clay Kuykendall and son Billy Haynes.
Jean is survived by her son Charles Swift and wife Donna; daughter Brenda Day; 2 grandchildren Leslie Swift Gomez and Sara Day; 3 great grandchildren Paige Todd, Kayla Hollimon and Catherine Gomez and many other family members and friends who love her will miss her.
At her request, no services will be held.
